Amrut Joshi is the Founder of GameChanger Law Advisors (GLA), a boutique Indian corporate and commercial law firm which has offices in Bengaluru and New Delhi. In a career that has spanned 16 years, he previously worked with some of India’s most reputed law firms, before founding GLA in October 2011.
Amrut is a retained counsel for several of the hottest start-ups operating in the Indian market, but is equally trusted by the “other” side, i.e., marquee angel investors and venture capital funds. His experience has spanned a wide range of sectors, including Education, Healthcare and Technology.
Amrut has also developed GLA's social enterprise practice, having advised leading CSR consulting firms and partnered with social business incubators and social impact funds in India. GLA is one of few Indian law firms to have developed a specialist law practice, targeted to address the diverse needs of social enterprises, and to help them secure their "impact-creation" objectives.
Amrut is a reputed speaker - he has been invited to speak at various national and
international fora, on corporate law, employment law, sports and gaming laws,
and on issues concerning social enterprises. He is an alum of the prestigious Australia India Youth Dialogue, and is currently one of the ambassadors of the German Indian Startup Exchange Program. He is also a frequent visitor to university campuses in India, including the International Institute of Sports Management (IISM) in Mumbai where he has taught Sports Law, and at the Gujarat National Law University, where he has taught a certificate course on Gaming Laws.
